Italian domestic appliance producer Gruppo Smeg has announced the acquisition of espresso machine manufacturer La Pavoni.
Founded in 1905 and based in Milan, La Pavoni produces espresso machines for the “high-end market sector”. Smeg says the brand leverages the quality of its products and its refined aesthetic. Read more

Panamanian coffee farm Ninety Plus has sold a prototype of its Geisha coffee in Dubai for a world record price of US$10,000 per kilogram.
