The Swedish-based coffee group Löfbergs has appointed Anders Fredriksson as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Anders has 20 years’ experience of management positions and is currently CEO of Norrmejerier, a Swedish diary company with a variety of national and international brands.

“We are very happy to welcome Anders to us. He has just the right competence and profile to develop Löfbergs in line with our new strategy. He has sound experience of the food industry and international business as well as a clear style of leadership with focus on building strong teams, which has contributed to his success in carrying out process of change,” says Kathrine Löfberg, chair of the board at Löfbergs.

“We also appreciate that he shares our values and understands the power of a family-owned business with committed co-workers and a strong culture. The task ahead is to lead the process to strengthen Löfbergs’s position and profitability in Sweden and abroad.”

Anders Fredriksson has worked in management positions for the last 20 years and has been CEO of Norrmejerier since 2015. He will assume his new office at Löfbergs in August. Löfbergs’s CFO, Fredrik Nilsson, will continue as acting CEO until then.

“It feels great and inspiring to be entrusted with this task. I am coming to a well-managed family business with fine old traditions, which always have had the ambition to develop. It will be incredibly exciting to be a part of the continuous journey together with co-workers, customers and other partners,” says Anders Fredriksson.

The coffee roaster Löfbergs was established in 1906. Today, Löfbergs represents six brands in 10 core markets in Europe and Canada. The company is still owned by the Löfberg family, now in its third and fourth generation.
